I shared a picture of this same cat two weeks ago. This is one of many cats around St. Crispin's.
This feline is especially friendly. When I shared this picture with a couple attending the same conference, the wife told me the cat had followed them on a little nature hike.
Hmm. A cat with species confusion, perhaps. It's an Episcopal camp, so we are quite tolerant.

The camp cat we met last week, posing for Paparazzo. Oddly enough, I will be visiting his camp again this weekend.

299/365 - Cat Friday
Her Ladyship strikes a pose atop her favorite perch - the oven, which is the second highest spot in the kitchen.

DJ ("Dame Julian") has a number of windows she runs to for bird watching and foreign cat monitoring. At least once a week, when I think I have the bathroom to myself, I see a cat-shaped silhouette on the blinds.
There's three windows that face the back yard, where most of the bird programming takes place: kitchen, dining room, and my bedroom. I have heavy blue curtains up in the bedroom. There's a chair just in front of the window.
This past Saturday I saw a cat fanny perched on the back of the chair. Her body was curved about the left side of the curtain. Her front paws (one presumes) were balanced on the window sill.
I ran to get my camera, but she had moved to a different view port by the time I returned.

The lady atop the box for an amplifier. She possessed this box for the two or three days I left it in the living room.

173/365 - Cat Friday
Her ladyship looks through the opened blinds.
I took this picture so I could try out a function on my photo-quality printer. You see, it will print pictures directly from a camera's memory card. My plan was to take pictures of the kids at the Vacation Bible School, then print them as a keep-sake.
As I mention below, I forgot my camera. Remembered the printer - but not the camera.
The original photo is a little grainy, as you may be able to tell from this compressed version.

33/365: Friday Cat

My friend Alexandria is out of town for about two weeks, and I am cat-sitting while she is away. On the left is Martin (technically her son's cat); on the right is Shadow (who could be DJ's aunt). The two cats tolerate each other, but it would be nigh unto impossible to get a good picture with both of them. Thus, this photo montage.
BTW, in the lower right-hand corner, just below Shadow, is my current signature for photo/digital art - a block form of my initials overlaid on the Hebrew aleph. The block initials are created new with each new image; the aleph is a stock image I have on file.

26/365: Cat Friday

Dame Julian ("DJ") is a little over a foot long, when stretched full length. Shot taken by available light with a Canon Rebel.
Night time temperatures have averaged in the teens and twenties for the past few weeks. Which has encouraged my feline companion to seek ambient warmth. She likes to sleep with me (her favorite spot seems to be in the crook of my knees). She also spends a lot of time on the comforter of my bed, even when I'm not under it.
